Manchester United have been scouting 18-year-old Galatasaray defender Ozan Kabak this term.

Turkish-Football reported interest from the Red Devils in the young centre-back back in October.

Since then The Sun published a story this month that United are continuing to keep tabs.

Galatasaray value their young defender as being worth €20m but there are reports that he currently has a €7.5m release clause.

Additionally, Kabak’s contract only runs until 2020.

The Lions are currently in talks with the young defender over a new deal according to Fanatik.

The young defender went from earning 5,000 TL when he signed a professional contract with the club aged 17 to an 890,000 TL-a-year deal after breaking into the first-team.

The Turkey international could be set for his third deal if he agrees to the terms put forward by Galatasaray.

The new deal would see him sign a five-year deal with a release clause that could be set at €20m.

Kabak rose through the academy ranks at Galatasaray before being drafted into the first-team following an injury crisis in defence.

Kabak started the Lions final four Champions League games.

Additionally, the Turkey international has started the reigning Super Lig champions last nine league games.
