Man United to Send Scouts For Semih Kilicsoy in Istanbul Derby

Beşiktaş striker Semih Kilicsoy, will be under the eye of scouts from across Europe in the Istanbul derby clash against Galatasaray on Sunday.

Manchester United will be among the clubs sending scouts to monitor Kilicsoy, sources told Turkish-Football.

United have expressed an interest in the 18-year-old striker who is establishing himself as one of the brightest prospects in the Turkish Super Lig.

Kilicsoy has been targeted by several clubs keen to snap up the next big talent in Turkish football.

NTV Spor names another seven clubs who will be keeping tabs on the powerful forward against Galatasaray. His impressive performances and goals have attracted the attention of major clubs in Germany, England, Spain, and Italy.

Per the source, scouts from Arsenal, Tottenham, and Manchester City (Premier League), Borussia Dortmund and Leipzig (Bundesliga), Atletico Madrid (La Liga), and Juventus (Serie A) will be present at the match.

With potential lucrative offers expected in the summer transfer window, it remains to be seen whether Beşiktaş will be willing to let go of the promising young talent, whom they ideally want to keep for at least another season.

Kilicsoy has scored nine goals and provided one assist in his last 10 games in the league for Besiktas and his form has resulted in him being tipped to break into the senior Turkish national team.

The striker could be part of the Euro 2024 setup this summer which would see his value rise even higher.
