Chelsea transfer news

Fenerbahce have not given up hopes of signing Manchester United centre-back, Marcos Rojo.

The Yellow Canaries were interested in signing the Argentina international over the summer however, the defender opted to remain at Old Trafford.

Rojo has however failed to regain his place in Jose Mourinho’s starting eleven so far this season.

According to the Turkish outlet Fotomac, Fenerbahce director of football Damien Comolli has already established communication with Man United chiefs.

Per the source, Fener wants to sign the Argentinean defender on loan until the end of the season with an option to buy included.

The Yellow Canaries are preparing to overhaul their squad in January following a disastrous start to their season. Fenerbahce sits in 15th spot, just one point above the relegation zone.

Furthermore, Fenerbahce are looking for a replacement to Martin Skrtel who has a little over eight months remaining on his contract with the Istanbul based club.
