Man United transfer news: Euro giants plot January talks for Red Devils star defender

Manchester United defender Daley Blind could be on his way out of Old Trafford in the near future.

The Netherlands international has under nine months remaining on his contract with the Red Devils and is yet to strike a new deal with United.

Meanwhile, the Turkish outlet Hurriyet state that Turkish Super Lig giants Fenerbahce are lining up a move for Blind. Per the source, Fener are interested in signing the versatile defender on a free-transfer next summer.

The Yellow Canaries will be able to discuss terms with Blind from January 1 onwards.

Blind has found himself on the fringes of Jose Mourinho’s squad this season. The 27-year-old has played just 270 minutes of Premier League football this season.

United recorded a comfortable 4-0 win over Crystal Palace last weekend and take on their biter rivals Liverpool in their next Premier League fixture on October 14.

Blind made the move to Man United from Ajax back in September 2014.
