Man United transfer news: Euro giants prepare improved offer for £27m England international in January

Manchester United out-of-favour defender Luke Shaw has been closely linked with a move away from Old Trafford in January.

The 22-year-old has fallen out of favour with manager Jose Mourinho and has been struggling with injuries in recent years.

Shaw is yet to make a Premier League appearance for the Red Devils this season despite returning to full-fitness. The former Southampton star knows he must play first-team football if he is to stand any chance of making the World Cup squad.

According the Turkish outlet Fotomac, Turkish Super Lig giants Fenerbahce are plotting a January bid for the England international.

Fenerbahce have already had a bid Luke Shaw rejected but that hasn’t deterred them.

Per the source, the Yellow Canaries will table an improved bid for the 22-year-old. Fenerbahce will also be able to discuss personal terms with Shaw in January as his contract with United expires next summer.

United may be willing to let the defender leave for a cut-price fee in January rather than lose him on a free next summer. The England international joined Man United from Southampton for an eye watering £27 million back in 2014.

However,  a recent report from the The Times states that Shaw has no interest in moving to the Super Lig.
