Manchester United have held talks with the Atletico Madrid star forward Antoine Griezmann’s agent this week, according to The Sun.
The report states that the Red Devils are offering Griezmann the same mega £220,000-per-week contract as Paul Pogba, if he joins Manchester United.
The deal would make Griezmann the joint top earner at United along with Pogba.
However, United are yet to strike a deal with Atletico Madrid who are demanding the Red Devil’s meet Griezmann’s £86million release clause. Per-the-source, United are confident of striking a deal and are considering offering players as makeweights in any deal.
