Marco Silva has a decision to make upfront with Cenk Tosun hitting form scoring twice in his last three games off the bench.
Silva may opt for a more physical side against United with Tosun upfront, Richarlison out wide and Theo Walcott on the other wing. This would push Bernard to the bench.
The Everton manager dismissed rumours that Tosun would be leaving and praised the striker in his pre-match press conference.
Silva said: “Not true. Cenk is happy. Apart from the goal against Crystal Palace he has had a fantastic week. His baby has been born – son. He is happy and is working to help the team.”
Silva will have Michael Keane and Kurt Zouma available as his centre-back pairing but Yery Mina will be hoping to get some playing time after returning to full match fitness.
Lucas Digne is almost certain to start and will provide a creative outlet on the left flank.
The Toffees received an injury boost after James McCarthy returned from injury.
The Irish midfielder is likely to make the bench with Andre Gomes and Idris Gueye getting the nod as the midfield duo.
United meanwhile will be without Marouane Fellaini and Alexis Sanchez who have a groin injury.
Chris Smalling, Luke Shaw, Victor Lindelof and David de Gea are likely to keep their place in defence but Valencia is available and could replace Ashley Young.
Lukaku is likely to lead the attacking line with Rashford, Martial and Juan Mata all available.
