United boss Jose Mourinho faces an injury crisis heading into the clash.
Anthony Martial remains a doubt, Ander Herrera, Daley Blind, Marouane Fellaini and Zlatan Ibrahimovic have all been ruled out with injury.
Mourinho does have one bit of good news as Eric Bailly is set for a return to the starting line-up for the first time since November.
The Red Devils manager has a key decision to make in the final third as Romelu Lukaku and Alexis Sanchez are likely to start in his three man attack but the last spot will be fought over by Juan Mata, Marcus Rashford and Jesse Lingard.
Lukaku will be looking for his 100th league goal against the Reds on Saturday.
Liverpool meanwhile have no major injury concerns heading into the game. Jordan Henderson is available having recovered from a dead leg.
Andrew Robertson has also been passed fit, while Georginio Wijnaldum has returned from injury.
Midfielder of Turkish origin Emre Can is match fit and likely to start.
Klopp has put a lot of faith in the 24-year-old over recent weeks, starting him in the Reds last 11 league games.
Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane and Firmino are all likely to start in the attack.
Salah has 24 goals in the league this season and five in his last five games.
