Roma are reportedly prepared to sell Cengiz Under in January but are demanding ‘at least £44m [€50m] according to the Corriere Dello Sport.
Per the source, four clubs are ‘ready to invest this figure’ over the winter transfer window, Arsenal, Manchester United, Barcelona and Manchester City.
The report claims that United want to replace out of favor winger Alexis Sanchez and that Barcelona are unhappy with Malcolm.
Meanwhile, City manager Pep Guardiola is on the lookout for wingers with ‘pace and quality’.
The newspaper emphasize that should the Giallorossi’s valuation be met it would allow Monchi to reinvest in the squad.
Turkish-Football can confirm Arsenal have been scouting Under and that City have a long-standing interest in the 21-year-old after missing out on signing him to Roma.
The Citizens were in advanced talks with Under’s former representatives having agreed a transfer fee with his former club before Roma made an increased bid.
It is worth pointing out that the Turkey international’s new agent Fadil Ramadani is negotiating an improved contract deal.
Under currently earns under €1m per-season despite being contracted to the club until 2022.
The new deal could include a release clause in the region of £44m [€50m] but the two sides have yet to agree a deal.

Under has been in impressive form this season scoring three goals – including two in the Champions League – and two assists.
