Manchester United fans have taken to social media in force following Manchester United’s 2-1 win over Wolfsburg in the UEFA Champions League.
The Red Devil’s came from a goal down to secure their first win in the competition this season.
Comparisons have been drawn between Man Utd playmaker Juan Mata and Arsenal’s Özil.
Olympiakos strategic advisor and BT Sport pundit Christian Karembeu criticised Özil’s performance in the loss against the Greek giants.
“I am so sorry for Özil he was missing, he did not do anything,” Karembeu said on BT Sport after the Arsenal v Olmypiakos game.
“I know him from Real Madrid he was a key player there but he could not help the team today or deliver some key passes,” he added.
Özil has two goals and three assists in all competitions for the Gunners this season.
Arsenal dropped into last place in Group F following the loss and will take on Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich home and away in their next two games.
