The Borussia Dortmund deep-lying playmaker Ilkay Gundogan has stated that he is unsure about his future at the Bundesliga club.

The 25-year-old has been linked with Liverpool since the appointment of his former manager Jurgen Klopp last month. Dortmund rejected an approach from Manchester United earlier on in the season according to the German newspaper Express.

“There are no new developments as of yet. I am feeling very well at BVB and I know what I have at this club,” Gundogan told Sport Bild.

“I know that I will have to deal with the matter of my future at some point and that people expect me to make a decision.”

Juventus are understood to be preparing a January move for Gündoğan according to Tuttosport.

The report states that the Serie A giants want to negotiate a €20 million deal while Dortmund are holding out for €25 million.

Dortmund sit in second place in the Bundesliga with 29 points in 13 games.

Gündoğan has provided five assists and scored two goals in 23 appearances for Dortmund this season.
