Man Utd striker not included in squad, could make debut against Turkish giants

Manchester United striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic has not made the squad that will travel to the far east.

Ibrahimovic has already had the minimum three-week rest period after the European Championships which is required by FIFA however, Mourinho has decided to give him extra time off.

United will face Borussia Dortmund and arch rivals Manchester City on their China tour before taking on Salford City or Turkish giants Galatasaray.

Salford are co-owned by former United stars including Gary Neville who recently out the following tweet hinting that Ibrahimovic could make his first appearance against the club.

United then embark on their next trip, this time to Ibrahimovic’s home country of Sweden on July 30 to face Galatasaray.

The 34-year-old may just be waiting to play his first game back home but has yet to confirm when he will actually make his debut for the Old Trafford.

Galatasaray were also closely linked with Ibrahimovic last summer but were unable to meet his financial demands.
