Man Utd striker Robin van Persie undergoes Fenerbahce medical

Manchester United winger Robin Van Persie has undergone a medical with Fenerbahçe according to Italian journalist Di Marzio.

The latest developments follow sources confirming that talks between United and Fenerbahçe over a transfer fee are on the verge of a successful conclusion.
As reported on Saturday United and Fenerbahçe as agreement-in-principle with Van Persie had already been reached last week.
Fenerbahçe sporting director Giuliano Terraneo has been in England to go over the final terms with United.
Van Persie is expected to join for a €6.5 million transfer fee on a three-year deal.
The Italian director also played an influential role in bringing Van Persie’s former United teammate Nani to the club.
Nani completed his €6 million transfer to the Istanbul giants on Monday on a three-year deal.
The Yellow Canaries have already made seven transfers this summer and appointed Vitor Pereira as manager replacing Ismail Kartal who guided the team to second place last season.
Fenerbahçe have already signed Simon Kjaer, Josef de Souza, Nani, Fabiano, Ba, Fernandao and Sener Ozbayrakli.
The Super Lig outfit have already started their pre-season training program and will enter the Champions League at the play-off stages next month.
