Manchester United striker Robin Van Persie will fly to Istanbul on Sunday after completing his transfer to Fenerbahçe a close source told Turkish-football.com.
Fenerbahçe have released a statement on the Public Disclosure Platform (PDP) officially confirming talks with Manchester United striker Robin van Persie.
PDP statements are required for companies listed on the Istanbul stock exchange such as Fenerbahçe.
Publicly listed Super Lig clubs generally release information of player talks as a formality before announcing the completion of the deal as was the case with Nani last week.
The Istanbul giants confirmed talks with Nani on the stock exchange before releasing the financial details shortly after.
