Manchester United take on rivals Liverpool at Old Trafford on Saturday in the Premier League.

The derby clash is always one of the most highly anticipated games in the league calendar but this time around it could prove pivotal in the top-four race.

United are currently second, Liverpool meanwhile are third and could overtake the Red Devils with a victory.

Jose Mourinho is facing an injury crisis heading into the clash and will have one eye on the Champions League clash against Sevilla which will be played mid-week.

Mourinho could have Anthony Martial available to make the squad but he is unlikely to start and may not even be able to feature at all due to injury.

Ander Herrera is out with a muscle injury, Daley Blind will miss the game due to his ankle problem.

Marcos Rojo has been out in recent weeks but may return in time for the Saturday game, although it is no certainty either.

Phil Jones is out as is Belgium international Marouane Fellaini.

The powerful midfielder is nearing a return and is expected to be match fit for the Swansea City game at the end of March.

Fellaini has just a few months remaining on his contract but has yet to sign an extension.

A course close to Galatasaray revealed to Turkish-Football that they have been in talks with Fellaini this season.

The Lions have offered a lucrative long-term deal with the promise of first-team football.

PSG have however, also been closely linked with Fellaini and are reportedly considering offering a four-year contract.

United will also be without Zlatan Ibrahimovic who has ACL trouble.

Mourinho said in the lead up to the game:  “Is he injured? No. Does he feel totally happy, ready and convinced that he’s in a condition to help the team in this moment? No.”
