Manchester City v Stoke confirmed lineups 

Manchester City host Stoke City in the Premier League tonight. Kick-Off is scheduled for 20:00 (GMT).

Pep Guardiola’s side have been in impressive form of late having suffered just one defeat in their last ten games at the Etihad.

The Spanish tactician has decided to rest Raheem Sterling while and drop John Stones to the bench.

City can move into second place in the table and within eight points of league leaders Chelsea if they record a victory tonight.

Stoke meanwhile are sitting comfortably in ninth place with 35 points after 27 games. The Potters will remain in ninth place even if they pull off a victory over City.

Germany international of Turkish decent Ilkay Gundogan will miss tonight’s clash. The midfield playmaker has been ruled out for the remainder of the season due to a knee injury.

Kun Aguero has kept his place up-front in the absence of Gabriel Jesus. Aguero has scored 23 goals in 31 apperances for the Citizens so far this season.
