Ex Man Utd star Van Persie reveals all time top 5 goals

Fenerbahçe striker Robin van Persie has revealed his all time top five goals in an interview with Fatih Demirkol on Fenerbahçe Tv.

“This is my all time top five; The flying header against Spain, the two volleys for Manchester United to win the league, when playing for Arsenal the goal against Everton and finally my goal against Manchester City for United in the derby,” Van Persie said.

1. Flying Dutchman

The goal against Spain wrapped up a memorable 5-1 victory in the 2014 World Cup in Brazil. Van Persie scored a total of four goals in the tournament last summer. Netherlands finished the tournament in third place beating Brazil 3-0 in the third-place game.

Van Persie has scored 49 goals in 98 appearances for the Netherlands over his career. The 31-year-old also scored 131 goals in 274 games for Arsenal and 58 goals in 105 matches for Manchester United.
