Manchester United and Arsenal target Cengiz Under has signalled his intent to play in the Premier League when he leaves AS Roma.

The 21-year-old only joined the Italian giants a little over a year ago but is being linked with a move to Europe’s top clubs after an impressive start to the 2018/19 season.

Under has established himself as a first-team regular at Roma and has netted three goals and provided five assists in 14 appearances.

According to ESPN’s Eren Sarigul, while Under is not looking to leave Roma in January, he is eyeing a move to the English top flight in the future.

“Roma winger Cengiz Under is keen on a Premier League move at the end of the season, if he leaves Italy, sources have told ESPN FC.”

Under has also been linked with a move to Bayern Munich and Tottenham in recent weeks. Manchester City came close to signing the flamboyant winger prior to his move to Roma.

Under is currently one of the lowest earners in Roma’s senior squad. The Turkey international’s current salary sees him earn around €1 million (£873,000) per year.

Roma are however in early talks over a new deal to tie him down beyond 2022, however, it is thought any new contract will include a release clause in the region of £50 million.
