Marko Marin has become the 26th Chelsea player to be loaned out over the summer.
The 26-year-old completed his one-season loan move to Trabzonspor yesterday after arriving in Turkey and passing his medical.
Marin became the second Chelsea player to move to the Süper Lig on loan this season following Kenneth Omeruo who joined Kasımpaşa.
Omeruo has started both games for his new side helping the Istanbul minnows keep clean sheets in both matches and win both encounters.
Marin will join former Chelsea player Jose Bosingwa at the Blues. There are a number of other ex Chelsea players in the league including, Samuel Eto’o, Gökhan Töre, Ricardo Quaresma and Raul Meireles.
The Germany international has already begun training with his new side and could make his debut on the weekend against Akhisar at the Avni Aker stadium.
Trabzonspor have won their first two games of the season and are currently joint first with six points.
