Mesut Özil expresses his disappointment following Arsenal’s exit from the UEFA Champions League

Mesut Özil has expressed his disappointment at being knocked out of the UEFA Champions League following his sides 2-0 victory over Monaco at the Stade Louis II.

The Gunners lost the first leg 3-1 at home and went out of the tournament on away goals.

Özil Tweeted after the game saying, “It’s so hard to be kicked out of the #ucl after such a result and such a game.”
