Arsenal legend Thierry Henry has stated that Mesut Özil is starting to delivery good performances for the Gunners on a consistent bases.
The 27-year-old was included in Henrys top ten players after ten games. The list which can be found on SkySport’s website.
“For me, he has finally started to deliver on a consistent basis,” Henry told SkySports.
“We all know his quality; he is a World Cup winner; his touch is second to none; he has vision; he shares… everything is there.
“The only thing you can say, in all fairness, is that before he wasn’t doing it on a consistent basis.
“Now, he looks like he’s doing it every game so you have to give him credit.”
Özil has come under fire since joining Arsenal on a record £42.5 million transfer from Real Madrid back in 2013.
The Germany international has provided five assists in his last four league games and has played an important role in Arsenal reaching the top of the Premier League table.
The Gunners take on Swansea next at the Liberty stadium on Saturday 31 October and Özil is expected to start.
