Mesut Ozil ‘expected’ to play for Germany despite missing Arsenal clash with hamstring injury
Arsenal star playmaker Mesut Ozil is expected to feature during Germany’s clash with England this week.
Germany host England at the Signal Iduna Park on Wednesday, kick-off is scheduled for 19:45 (GMT).
Ozil missed Arsenal’s embarrassing 3-1 defeat at the hands of West Brom on Saturday due to hamstring injury.
However, the Evening Standard have reported that Ozil is ‘expected‘ play for the Germans against England, as it is just a ‘minor injury’.
The news may raise suspicion’s amongst Arsenal fans. Ozil missed several important games earlier this month due to an illness.
Arsenal find themselves in sixth place in the Premier League and six points behind fourth placed Liverpool.

To make matters worse, the Gunners may be without Alexis Sanchez for their next game against Manchester City. The Chile international was taken off on Saturday following an ankle injury.
Ozil has nine assists and nine goals in 31 apperances for Arsenal this season.
