Mesut Ozil Prepares For Arsenal Pre-Season US Tour Amid Transfer Rumours to Fenerbahce, No 10 Will Not Leave Gunners This Summer

Arsenal star Mesut Ozil is preparing for the pre-season US tour amid persistent rumors from the Turkish media claiming he could join Fenerbahce.

Fanatik claimed yesterday that Fenerbahce want to loan Ozil and are prepared to pay £8.5m of his wages and that Arsenal will pay the remaining £5.5m.

Turkish-Football can confirm that Ozil will not be joining the Yellow Canaries and that he will remain an Arsenal player.

The playmaker is preparing and looking forward to the 2019-20 season with Arsenal.

Ozil shared an Instagram post from training today revealing that he is ‘putting in some work’ before pre-season in the United States.

Arsenal will head off to the United States soon ahead of their first International Champions Cup game against Bayern Munich on Wednesday July 17 in Los Angeles at the Dignity Health Sports Park.

The Gunners will then take on AS Roma in the 75,000 capacity Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, North Carolina on Saturday, July 20.
