Mesut Özil provided a pinpoint assist for Theo Walcott in Arsenal’s 2-0 victory over Stoke City at home.
The 26-year-old played a long range pass over Stoke’s defence directly into the path of Wacott’s run.
Özil was a doubt going into the game due a knee injury he suffered earlier this month. The former Real Madrid man missed his side’s 1-0 win over Newcastle in the last round of games.
Olivier Giroud scored the games other goal giving Arsenal the 2-0 win.
The 26-year-old featured in both of Germany’s victories in the Euro 2016 qualification games during the international break.
Özil played 84 minutes of today’s game before being substituted off in place of Alex Oxlade Chamberlain.
Arsenal moved up into second place in the Premier League following today’s victory. The North London based side take on their London rivals Chelsea in next weekend.
Özil has provided one assists and scored no goals in four appearances for Arsenal this season.
