Arsenal take on Burnley at the Emirates Stadium in the Premier League hoping to return to winning ways after suffering back to back defeats.

The Gunners were on a 22 game unbeaten run before the two losses against Southampton followed by Tottenham in the Carabao Cup.

The big news for the North London based side is that Mesut Ozil has returned to the team.

Ozil was left out against Tottenham mid-week despite being match fit. Head coach Unai Emery claimed it was due to ‘tactical reasons’ but the decision sparked uproar.

The playmaker of Turkish origin is back in the team against Burnley and has been given the captains armband.

Ozil has four goals and two assists in all competitions this season.
