Arsenal take on Liverpool at Anfield Stadium in the Carabao Cup on Wednesday 30 October.

Mesut Ozil returns to the starting lineup after missing the last six games for the Gunners.

The playmaker of Turkish origin has been left out of the side for the last few games but Unai Emery has decided to finally include Ozil in the team again.

The 31-year-old has made just two appearances this term heading into the clash.

Ozil shared a post on Instagram heading into the match calling for unity after a disappointing set of results which has seen Arsenal lose against Sheffield United and draw to Crystal Palace in their last two games.

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp meanwhile has rotated his side heavily given youngster Rhian Brewster a starting role.

Brewster was born in England but has a Turkish mother and is eligible to represent the Turkey national team at senior level.

Additionally, Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino have all been rested and will not feature against the Gunners.

Klopp has pretty much rested every one of his usual starters including defensive star Virgil van Dijk.
