Mesut Ozil to Barcelona: La Liga giants “agreed” three-year deal with Arsenal contract-rebel & Man United target
Manchester United have suffered a blow in the race to sign Arsenal star playmaker Mesut Ozil.
The 29-year-old has been linked with an exit from the north London-based club after failing to pen a new deal. Ozil has under seven months remaining on his contract with Arsenal and could end up leaving the club for free next summer.
According to Catalunya Radio, Barcelona have already held talks with Ozil’s agent, Dr Erkut Sogut, and a three-and-a-half-year contract has now been agreed.
Per the source, Arsenal are prepared to accept a £17 million offer for their star playmaker.
