Mesut Özil watches two of his former clubs in the UEFA Champions League

Mesut Özil has posted a picture of himself watching the UEFA Champions League clash between Schalke and Real Madrid.

The 26-year-old playmaker has played for both clubs in the past. Ozil played for Schalke between 2006 and 2008 and played for Real Madrid from 2010 until 2013.

Özil posted the caption, “watching my two former clubs” along with the image of himself in front of the TV.

Özil has been in impressive form for the Gunners following his return from injury which forced him onto the sidelines for three months.

The World Cup Winner has played five games since returning from a a knee injury he sustained last October.
