Mesut Ozil’s assist for Olivier Giroud during Arsenal’s win over Aston Villa was ‘instinctive’

Mesut Ozil has stated that his assist for Olivier Giroud during Arseanl’s victory over Aston Villa in the Premier League.
Arsenal defeated Aston Villa 5-0, Ozil both scored and provided an assist during the game.
The 26-year-old was asked about his thought processes leading up to the assist by Arsenal Player.
“The one with the back heel? I don’t know how to explain it. Sometimes when the ball comes to you, you just think instinctively about where the next pass should go,” Ozil told Arsenal Player.
“I saw Giroud and flicked it onto him using my heel. He went though and scored and of course I was pleased to give such a nice assist.”

Özil was voted February Arsenal Vitality Player of the Month and has provided the highest number of assists for his side since his return from injury.
