Arsenal star playmaker Mesut Ozil may have just put pen-to-paper on a new deal with the Gunners however, that hasn’t stopped the Turkish press linking him with the Istanbul giants.
According to the Turkish outlet Sporbord, Ozil’s girlfriend Amine Gulse wants the 29-year-old to join Galatasaray.
However, Gulse went onto clarify that Ozil has penned a new deal and will be at the north London based club for the foreseeable future.
“As a Galatasaray fan, of course, I’d love to see Mesut playing for them,” Gulse was quoted as saying.
“However, Ozil has extended his contract with Arsenal and I support every decision he makes.”

Ozil recently penned a three-year deal making him the highest paid player in Arsenal’s history.
Arsenal host Ostersunds FK at the Emirates on Thursday before facing Man City in the League Cup final.
The 29-year-old played a starring role during the Gunners 3-0 win over the Swedish side last week. Ozil seven assists and five goals to his name in 27 appearances for Arsenal this season.
