Arsenal fans entered a frenzied panic this morning when manager Arsene Wenger stated that the star playmaker was a doubt for Sunday’s cup final.
The Gunners take on Manchester City on Sunday at Wembley in the Carabao Cup final.
Wenger revealed that Ozil missed training on Monday and Tuesday due to an illness and that he is ruled out against Ostersunds FK tonight.
However, Arsenal fans turned to some social media investigating and believes Ozil may be trying to pull the wool over his manager’s eyes.
Fans noted that the Germany international appeared to be in impeccable health when pictured in Istanbul on Monday.

The photo from the Four Seasons hotel in Istanbul was uploaded on Monday by his girlfriend and former Miss Turkey Armine Gulse.
Gulse’s post has led fans to believe Ozil called in sick to get out of the second leg against Ostersunds and have no doubts that he will feature against City.
