Nani urges Fenerbahce to sign Man Utd striker Robin van Persie

Nani has encouraged Fenerbahçe to sign former Manchester United teammate Robin van Persie and underlined that he would fit in well at the club.

The 28-year-old winger was asked if he has had the chance to speak about the ongoing talks between United and Fenerbahçe over Van Persie at his official signing ceremony.

“No I have not had the chance to speak with him yet but if he is coming here I think it is a very good decision to come here as he is a very experienced player and a player who will score goals,” Nani told Turkish-football.com sources at the signing ceremony.

“I know him well we are good friends so if the club signs him it will be a great choice.”
