Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis is reportedly furious with Victor Osimhen after the striker refused to entertain a potential move away from Galatasaray in the January transfer window, despite interest from Manchester United according to La Repubblica.
Osimhen signed a new contract with Napoli last summer, which included a release clause of €120 million.

However, he opted for a loan move to Galatasaray, with the understanding that he could leave in January.
Despite interest from Manchester United, Osimhen informed Napoli that he wished to remain with Galatasaray for the remainder of the season.
This decision has angered De Laurentiis, who was hoping to generate significant revenue from Osimhen’s sale and potentially use the funds to sign Sandro Tonali from Newcastle.
With Osimhen staying at Galatasaray, his release clause for the summer transfer window will decrease to €75 million.
This development could significantly impact Napoli’s transfer plans for the upcoming summer.
Osimhen has been in excellent form for Galatasaray this season, scoring 12 goals in 15 appearances across all competitions.
The Nigeria International has settled in well in Turkey and the Lions do want to sign him on a permanent deal.
Galatasaray are currently first in the Super Lig and competing in the Europa League.
