Napoli Locked in Talks With Fenerbahce Over Eljif Elmas, No Deal Agreed Yet

Napoli are currently locked in talks with Fenerbahce over the transfer of Eljif Elmas a source close to the Super Lig club revealed to Turkish-Football.

However, despite reports in Turkey and Italy claiming a deal has been reached Fenerbahce deny reaching an agreement.

Fenerbahce have yet to accept an offer from Napoli.

Elmas’ representatives have held talks with the Serie A outfit and are open to the move if Fenerbahce accept the Napoli bid.

The Yellow Canaries do not want to accept lower than their €20m valuation.

Napoli and Fenerbahce have yet to agree on a price both sides would be happy with and talks are set to continue throughout the day and tomorrow.

Elmas has another three-years remaining on his contract and joined the Yellow-Navy Blues for just €180,000 [Transfermarkt] in summer, 2017.

Fenerbahce are open to selling Elmas due to their current financial situation but only for the right price.

The Macedonia international of Turkish origin had an impressive season last term scoring four goals in 40 appearances for the Yellow Canaries in all competitions.
