Napoli sent scouts to keep tabs on Besiktas star Oguzhan Ozyakup during the Turkey v Croatia game in the Parc des Princes last Sunday according to Fanatik.
The Serie A outfit will keep close tabs on the Turkish international international midfielder over the course of the tournament.
AMK meanwhile report that West Ham have also stepped up efforts to sign Ozyakup .
Hammers boss Slaven Bilic has made signing Gokhan Tore and Ozyakup a priority.
Bilic also stated that he is interested in a few Besiktas players during the post-match coverage on Super Lig broadcaster Lig Tv last Sunday.
The Croatian manager knows the Turkish midfielder well from his time coaching Ozyakup during his two-year stint at Besiktas.
The creative midfielder does have Premier League experience having risen through the youth ranks at Arsenal before his move to Besiktas in 2012.
The former Arsenal youth was one of the Black Eagles key players in their match to the league title last season and is expected to feature as a first-team player throughout Euro 2016.
