“Need to keep him at all costs” – Everton fans react to Galatasaray loanee being linked with move to La Liga giants

It has been an interesting summer for Everton winger Henry Onyekuru.

The 21-year-old completed a loan move to Galatasaray over the summer however, he has subsequently been linked with a move to La Liga giants Valencia.

Galatasaray are keen to keep hold of Onyekuru, especially after his debut goal for the Istanbul giants. The Lions do not have an option to sign Onyekuru in their loan-deal with Everton.

News of the Nigeria international’s potential big-money move to Valencia has perked the interest of several Everton fans who have taken to social media.

Some hope the young prospect will remain an Everton player, while others are unhappy with the player’s desire to play elsewhere.

Onyekuru made the move to Everton in the summer of 2017 however, he has been unable to attain a work permit to play in England.

The 21-year-old spent last season on loan with Anderlecht where he netted ten goals in 28 games.

Onyekuru will play in the UEFA Champions League with Galatasaray this season after they lifted their 21st Turkish Super Lig title back in May.
