Besiktas goalkeeper Loris Karius has had his say on the incident between himself and Real Madrid star Sergio Ramos during the UEFA Champions League Final.
The German keeper is currently on a two-year loan deal with the Black Eagles from Liverpool.
Karius made the headlines for all the wrong reasons following two major blunders in the UCL final that directly led to goals.
Liverpool subsequently signed Alisson Becker from Roma which lead to Karius joining Besiktas.
The 25-year-old believes his collision with Ramos led to his sight being impaired during the game.
Karius went onto state that he is unsure whether the Real Madrid man had deliberately set out to injure him and that Ramos is yet to make an apology.
“I don’t know if Sergio Ramos deliberately injured me,” Karis was quoted as saying by the Daily Star.
“Only he knows, but it’s not important.
“However, he has never said sorry to me. The tests that they did on me showed I had a visual impairment.”
