Newcastle prepared to offer improved offer for Dutch winger in January after having £6m offer rejected
Newcastle United are prepared to offer Galatasaray an improved bid for Gary Rodrigues in January after having a £6 million offer rejected over the summer.
Futbol Arena report that the Magpies have been keeping close tabs on the Cape Verde winger and are going to sign him again over the winter transfer break or at the end of the season.

Per the source, the Lions have confirmed interest from Newcastle but that they will only consider an offer which exceeds the initial £6 million bid.
Newcastle were reported to have sent scouts to watch Rodrigues recently in the Super Lig clash against Osmanlispor.
Galatasaray signed Rodrigues from PAOK FC last summer for approximately £3 million.
The Dutch born winger has represented the Cape Verde national team 24 times.
The 26-year-old has been in impressive form for Galatasaray this season providing three assists in five league games.
The Lions are currently top of the Turkish Super Lig after winning four and drawing one of their first five games.
