Newcastle United midfielder Dan Barlaser has joined League Two side Crewe Alexandra on loan until the end of the season.
The rising star revealed that he is looking forward to the challenge and ‘kick start’ his career.
“This is my first loan and I am ready for the challenge,” Barlaser told Crewe’s official website.
“I knew Crewe gave young players a chance, so when I heard they were interested in taking me I jumped at the chance really.
“I want to come here and get some game time and kick start my career. It is a great opportunity for me.”

Barlaser was involved in Crewe’s match day squad last Saturday as they were beaten 3-2 by Wycombe Wanderers just 24 hours after joining.
The 21-year-old failed stayed on at Newcastle over the summer despite being linked with loan moves.
The rising star had four assists in 16 appearances this season playing for the Newcastle reserves but did not play a single minute of Premier League football.
Barlaser was closely linked with reigning Super Lig champions Besiktas over the summer transfer window but ended up staying on with the Magpies.
Despite being born in Gateshead, Newcastle Barlaser is also of Turkish descent and can play in the Super Lig under domestic status.
The 20-year-old midfielder can represent Turkey and England at international level.
