Newcastle & Tottenham face competition from Italian giants for €20m striker target with 10 goals in all competitions

Besiktas striker Cenk Tosun has been closely linked with a Premier League move but he has started attracting attention from other major European leagues.

Turkish state broadcaster TRT reported on their sports channel TRT Spor that AC Milan have entered the race for Tosun.

Per the source, the Serie A giants sent scouts to the Istanbul derby between Besiktas and Basaksehir.

The star striker scored in the 1-1 draw taking his tally for club and country to 10 goals in all competitions.

The Turkish international has also been closely scouted by three Premier League sides.

A source close to Besiktas revealed to Turkish-Football that Newcastle, Tottenham and Crystal Palace have sent scouts to keep tabs on their star man this season.

Tosun has three goals and one assist in the Champions League this season.

The 26-year-old also picked up UEFA goal of the week for his long range effort in the 3-1 victory over Porto on Match Day 1.

The Germany born striker would be eligible to play in the Premier League without a work permit – as is usually required by Turkish nationals.

Besiktas currently value Tosun as being worth €20 million, the striker has two-years remaining on his contract.
