Newcastle United midfielder set to join Turkish club after agreeing terms – Expected to arrive Bursa this week

Newcastle United midfielder Henri Saivet is nearing a move to the Turkish Super Lig side Bursaspor.

According to the Turkish outlet Olay, the Green Crocodiles have been locked in negotiations with Newcastle for the Senegal international.

Per the source, Bursaspor have agreed a deal to sign Saivet on a season-long loan deal.

The report goes onto state that personal terms with the 27-year-old have also been agreed and that he is expected to arrive in Bursa this week.

Bursaspor’s newly appointed manager Samet Aybaba has played a key role in negotiations. The experienced Turkish tactician worked with Saivet last season at Sivasspor.
