Newcastle United rising star hints at summer exit, Turkish champions plotting move
Newcastle United rising star Dan Barlaser hinted at a summer exit in a recent interview with the Chronicle.
Barlaser revealed that he would get more first-team football if he goes on a loan move.
The 20-year-old stated underlined that it could increase his chances of playing regularly at international level.
Barlaser has the option of representing either Turkey or England at international level.
Despite being born in Gateshead, Newcastle, Barlaser does have Turkish heritage.
The Newcastle youngster has made 15 appearances for Turkey at youth level but the last time he played international football was for England.
Barlaser said: “The last time I played international football was for England.

“If I get to play first team football, maybe on loan somewhere, I might have a chance to play regularly at international level.”
The midfielder has spent most of the season playing for the Under-23 side.
Chronicle NUFC writer Chris Waugh wrote this season that Barlaser could benefit from a loan move. He wrote: “Physically Barlaser still needs to bulk up a little bit before he will really be ready for first-team football, and he probably requires a loan move before being considered by Benitez, but his ability is undoubted and he remains an outside option for his manager.”
Barlaser was recently offered to Turkish league giants Besiktas by his management company according to Fotospor.
Per the source, Barlaser who is represented by the same management company as Robin van Persie – SEG – has been brought to the attention of Besiktas.
SEG football agent Kees Vos is reported to have consulted Besiktas regarding the availability of Barlaser on a loan move.
Besiktas are keen on the young midfielder and expected to make a move for the 20-year-old youngster.
