Trabzonspor midfielder Okay Yokuslu has been the subject of keen interest from abroad in recent weeks.
The Turkey international is set for a summer departure from Trabzonspor and has a host of clubs monitoring his progress.
Yokuslu has been in impressive form for Trabzonspor this season with Spanish outlet Estadio Deportivo nicknaming the midfielder as the “Turkish Busquets.”
A source from within Trabzonspor has revealed to Turkish-Football that Newcastle United scouts will be present during the Black Sea Storm’s clash with Osmanlispor tonight.
Interestingly, Yokuslu may not play in his favoured defensive midfield role. Manager Rıza Calımbay has deployed Yokuslu as a ball-playing defender recent weeks.
Yokuslu has also played centre-back for the Turkish national team. Trabzonspor are open to selling the star midfielder at the end of the season for the right price.
West Ham United and West Brom have also been linked with a move for Yokuslu in recent weeks.
Newcastle United secured their Premier League future with a 2-1 win over Arsenal. The Magpies are back in action next week when they face Everton.
