Fenerbahce have joined the race to sign Feyenoord star striker Nicolai Jorgensen.

According to the Turkish outlet Fotomac, Fenerbahce are weighing up a bid for the Denmark international.

Per the source, the Yellow Canaries’ primary target is Bas Dost and will only make a move for Jorgensen if they are unable to land the former Sporting forward.

Meanwhile, Newcastle United have also been linked with a move for the Denmark forward.

According to the Chronicle, Newcastle tried to sign Jorgensen back in January and have maintained their interest in the 27-year-old.

Jorgensen is currently on international duty with the Denmark national team at the 2018 World Cup.

The powerful forward led the line for Denmark’s opening two games and created Christian Eriksen’s goal against Australia.

Jorgensen was rested for Denmark’s 0-0 draw with France but is expected to return to the starting eleven for the Round of 16 clash with Croatia on Sunday.
