Galatasaray are prepared to offload their star forward Garry Rodrigues for the right price in January.
The Istanbul giants are been closely monitored by UEFA for Financial Fair Play and were forced into offloading the likes of Bafetemi Gomis over the summer.
Newcastle United were closely linked with a move for Rodrigues over the summer transfer window. Turkish-Football recently reported that Newcastle United have continued to monitor the Cape Verde international.
According to the Turkish outlet Fotospor, Galatasaray have set a £13.5 million price tag on Rodrigues.
The report goes onto state that Newcastle United are prepared to match Galatasaray’s asking price.
Rodrigues played a major role in Galatasaray’s title success last season. The 27-year-old has been a first-team regular ever since Fatih Terim’s appointment.
Newcastle United are likely to strengthen their squad in January following a disappointing start to the season. The Magpies are yet to register a victory during their 2018/19 Premier League campaign.
