Newcastle v Arsenal: Confirmed Lineups – £60m January Signing Returns, Mesut Ozil Dropped

Arsenal Team News

Arsenal will be looking to record their 11th successive win against Newcastle United.

The Gunners face the Magpies at St James’ Park on Sunday.

The North London based outfit head into the clash having won their last three games in the league but so have Newcastle who have moved clear of the relegation zone.

Arsenal have a less than impressive away record in the league, winning three games on the road.

Newcastle meanwhile are unbeaten at home in their last five games.

Arsenal secured their place in the semi-finals of the Europa League on Thursday night after eliminating CSKA from the competition.

The Gunners will prioritize European competition as it is their only route to Champions Leauge football next season.

£60 million January signing Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is set to return to the starting eleven after sitting out of the mid-week clash due to being cup-tied.

Xhaka was a doubt heading into the clash but has made the starting line-up.

Eighteen-year-old Joe Willock will make his debut today.
