Neymar takes selfie with Fenerbahçe star [divider]
Brazil national team star Neymar shared a selfie with Fenerbahçe star Diego Ribas via his Instagram account.
Neymar described Diego as one of his childhood hero’s growing up in Brazil.
Neymar aged 22 grew up watching Diego aged 29 and looked pleased to meet the Fenerbahçe star.
The Barcelona forward scored twice and provided an assist in Brazil’s 4-0 win over Turkey.
The match was played at the Şükrü Saracoğlu stadium, home to Fenerbahçe.
Diego has failed to establish himself as a regular first-team player at Fenerbahçe yet but has started receiving more playing time recently under manager İsmail Kartal.
Fenerbahçe signed Diego as a free agent on a three-year deal worth €3.5 million per-season.
Diego scored four times in 33 appearances for Brazil during his playing time for the Selecao.
The 29-year-old attacking midfielder was part of the Atletico Madrid side that won the La Liga and reached the final of the Champions League last season.
