‘No deal yet’ – Man City hold four hour long talks with Man United forward target but yet to reach an agreement
Manchester City held four-hour long talks with Basaksehir over the transfer of Cengiz Under.
The Istanbul based club confirmed negotiations took place but revealed that a deal has yet to be reached.
Basaksehir released the following statement: “The board held talks with club officials from Manchester City over the transfer of Cengiz Under. Negotiations lasted four hours but there is no deal yet.”

Turkish-Football reported that City sent officials earlier today and that an offer had been put forward.
Basaksehir want €10 million for their rising star who has another four-years left on his contract.
The Istanbul minnows also want City to loan Under back to the club for another season.
Under has attracted widespread interest after an impressive breakthrough season.
City rivals Manchester United have also been closely linked with the 19-year-old.
We reported that United’s Eastern European chief scout Krsto Kilibarda was spotted at a Basaksehir game keeping tabs on Under back in May.
Under is keen on a Premier League move and revealed that he dreams of joining a club like United.
“The league I really want to play in is the Premier League and I would also love La Liga,” Under told beIN Turkey.
“I want to play for Manchester United or Chelsea, also Barcelona or Real Madrid.”
The rising star established himself as a first-team player for Basaksehir playing a key role in their surprise title race.
Basaksehir finished the league campaign as runners-up and reached the Turkish Cup final.
Under was the best performing under-21 player in the league, scoring nine times and providing seven assists.
