Arsenal have released an update regarding the fitness of their star playmaker Mesut Ozil.
Ozil missed Arsenal’s victory over Fulham last weekend due to a back spasm. The Gunners registered a 5-0 victory over their London rivals.
Unai Emery’s side have now registered nine victories in a row. Arsenal are back in action on Monday 22 October when they host Leicester City at the Emirates stadium.

Arsenal released an injury update on their official website detailing the progress of Mesut Ozil, Ainsley Maitland-Niles, Danny Welbeck, Petr Cech, Dinos Mavropanos and Laurent Koscielny.
Per the source, Ozil has recovered from his back spasm and has returned to full training. Maitland-Niles has also returned to first team training.
Welbeck and Cech are still being assessed while Mavropanos and Koscielny are ruled out.
Ozil has remained in north London during the international break after retiring from the Germany national team.
The 29-year-old has scored three goals in eight appearances for Arsenal this season.
