Spanish football journalist Guillem Balague has responded to reports that Barcelona are considering replacing current head coach Luis Enrique with Arsene Wenger or Jurgen Klopp.
Balague revealed that Barcelona are not targeting Klopp or Wenger.
Barcelona do not have plans to sign Wenger and while Balague feels that Klopp is a good manager, he feels the La Liga giants would not be able to tempt the German manager away from Liverpool.
Balague told Sky Sports: “Barcelona have no interest in Klopp or Wenger.
“As far as Klopp is concerned, it is not because he isn’t good – he quite clearly is – but rather because there is no way they could ever coax him away from Liverpool.
“Wenger, meanwhile does not figure in their plans.”
Enrique has come under fire from sections of the press and Barcelona fans after a poor run of results culminating in a humiliating 4-0 defeat against PSG in the Champions League Last 16 first-leg clash in Paris last week.
Barcelona are currently just one points behind La Liga leaders Real Madrid but the Madrid based outfit do have two games in hand.
Barca do have an outside chance of winning the league and have reached the Copa del Rey final.
A shift in managerial changes at Barcelona, Liverpool or Arsenal could mark an under certain future for Turkish international Arda Turan and Germany international’s of Turkish origin, Mesut Ozil and Emre Can.
Turan has 13 goals and seven assists in all competitions for Barca this season.
Ozil meanwhile, has suffered a dip in form at Arsenal but remains a favourite of Wenger.
Can has also struggled this season and has yet to sign a contract extension.
